@ Raw Sugar (Ottawa) Fri., Jan. 14 I'll be sharing the stage with some luminary local Ottawa talent, hosted by the divine L. Poushinsky and also featuring Shannon Rose, Jonathan Laurie-Beaumont and Brendan Allistone, plus sidemen from the Dusty Drifters and the Jesse Green Band. This is an annual series: last year we paid homage to Bob Dylan and it was an awesome show. Neil Young was basically my guitar teacher via his records, and I know more of his songs than anyone else's (they lend themselves so perfectly to solo acoustic performance, obviously), so this one's right in my wheelhouse, as his songs are a musical home base to many acoustic players. It's going to be a fun night of all the hits delivered with a twist!
